Paper transcripts can be forged and take weeks to issue. HEDD verification requires UK UCAS integration. UD Transcript is self-verifiable anywhere in the world, instantly.

Paper or PDF transcript from registrar

Weeks to obtain. Easily forged in Photoshop. Employers verify by calling the institution — a process that can take days and fails entirely for international graduates and overseas employers.

HEDD (Higher Education Degree Datacheck)

UK-only service requiring institutional membership. International graduates, professional courses, and non-HEDD institutions aren't covered. Verification requires an employer to pay per check.

UD Transcript — self-verifying without the institution

Module grades, classification, and awarding institution are sealed with a tamper-evident hash. Any employer worldwide can open the file in UD Reader and verify the seal without calling anyone.
