How UD Regulatory Filing differs from EDGAR, FDA eSub, and email tracking
Regulatory portals accept submissions but don't give you a tamper-evident record of what you filed and when. UD Regulatory Filing creates that record, independent of the regulator's system.
EDGAR / FDA eSub / FCA Connect portals
Regulator portals accept the submission but the confirmation you receive is an email or screen acknowledgement — not a structured, verifiable record of exactly what was filed, by whom, on what date.
Email tracking and folder archives
Compliance teams store submission confirmations in email folders. These can be deleted, modified, or misattributed. No cryptographic proof that the confirmation hasn't been altered after receipt.
UD Regulatory Filing — structured submission record
Filing reference, submission date, regulator name, filing type, and submitting entity are structured metadata fields — not just text in an email. The record is queryable and machine-readable.
UD Regulatory Filing — independent tamper-evident proof
The filing record is sealed at creation time with a hash independent of the regulator's system. In a dispute about whether a filing was made on time, the sealed record provides independent cryptographic evidence.
